Maths

By the end of Year 4 children will be expected to have instant recall of the 2, 3, 4, 5,  6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 times tables and their related division facts.  You can help your child practise these at home by:

  • turning over playing cards and multiplying the cards together (who can answer the quickest?)
  • Rolling dice and multiplying the numbers together
  • learning them by rote
  • practising them whilst walking home from school or in the car etc....
  • singing them
