Our ethos and vision are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and                                                  learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Front Lawn Primary is a school that strives to be a gateway of opportunity for the community. 

We believe all children have the right to a balanced curriculum that enables them to become morally aware citizens who feel a sense of pride and achievement. At the heart of the curriculum is our moral compass that ensures children will thrive and develop expertise in a range of subjects.   

We feel strongly that it is our role to develop a Moral Compass within our children.

This is exemplified by our core values that extend across the school and are at the heart of everything we do.

Our core values are developed through the RR programme that we are committed to and is referred to as often as possible.

Positive Powers

The children at Front Lawn are encouraged to use 6 Positive Powers to make sure they are the best versions of themselves.  These are- work hard, imagine, don't give up, push yourself, understand others and try new things. Positive Powers are discussed regularly in lessons and children work closely with their teachers and peers to decide which Positive Power they have used and to challenge themselves to use different ones.
