What a great day we had today with Ollie from Beat Goes on.
Ollie was a former cast member of 'Stomp' and now runs amazing body percussion workshops for schools.
The children had a brilliant time and learnt how to make stories and poems musical!
Preparations have begun for this years Rock Challenge Performance.
The children have chosen a really topical theme this year and we know they will do the school proud when they perform in February.
It's not too late to join, if you would like to be part of this after school club pop into the office or let Aled know.
The children have celebrated National Poetry Day in style with amazing autumn poetry workshops from Kate Williams.
She was so impressed with the children's ideas, she has noted down some of them to use in her next poems.

Thank you to our local PCSOs for coming into school and working with our children to help them keep safe online. There were some really interesting questions from the children and they really enjoyed the sessions provided.

We hope you all had a great summer and enjoyed that fantastic weather. The children have had a great start to the new term and we like to thank you for the huge effort you have made with their school uniform - they all look super smart.
We have lots of great trips, visitors and experiences planned for the children this term and look forward to getting out in the local community. Watch this space for dates!
